AAR Hangar Expansion

The AAR MIA MRO Hangar Expansion project enhances aviation maintenance capabilities at Miami International Airport through the construction of a new 114,000 SF facility adjacent to AAR’s existing hangar. This expansion increases maintenance capacity by 33%, supporting the company’s growing operational needs.

CHA is providing fire protection services for the project, including the installation of multiple wet and foam systems, as well as column protection throughout the hangar. The scope also covers offices and shops within the facility, all of which are fully protected. This development reflects a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and long-term value for both stakeholders and the surrounding community.
