City of Vincennes, 2.0 MG Elevated Water Storage Tank

The City of Vincennes constructed a new composite elevated water storage tank to strengthen its distribution system and support long-term growth. Completed in 2022, the tank increases available storage and enhances fire protection across the service area. The structure’s height and overflow elevation optimize system pressure and operational efficiency. CHA provided design and coordination for the tank and related infrastructure, including the installation of structural and operational appurtenances to enable reliable inspections and maintenance. Site improvements included a 20-inch water main, overflow drain piping, a 6-inch drain/fire hydrant assembly, and a new access drive and stone lot.

The completed tank supports system resiliency and community growth, representing a significant investment in the reliability and sustainability of Vincennes’ water infrastructure.
