The Phase II expansion of Hankook Tire’s Clarksville, TN campus adds 2.2 million square feet of new production and support facilities to meet growing demand and improve manufacturing efficiency.
CHA is delivering design/engineering, labor, and project management services for a comprehensive fire protection package. This includes overhead wet systems, dry systems, deluge systems, and pre-action systems designed to protect commodities classified under Extra Hazard Group I and II. Two new diesel fire pumps and a 300,000-gallon water storage tank will support the fire protection infrastructure. Upon completion, a total of 71 systems will be installed across the main production building and surrounding ancillary facilities.
In addition to fire protection, the project integrates key building systems such as domestic plumbing, HVAC, process mechanical distribution (chilled water, compressed air, and steam), industrial electrical distribution, process controls, and fire alarm systems. These systems are critical to maintaining safe, efficient, and high-performance operations throughout the facility.
