JMA Wireless, the only 5G manufacturer in the United States, is establishing a 5G indoor antenna manufacturing hub alongside a suite of other 5G businesses in the incubation stage, which rely on the 5G antenna business.
CHA completed the master planning, zoning, site development, and entitlements for the JMA Wireless Corporate Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility. The project began with the remediation of a former industrial site through the NYSDEC Brownfield Clean-Up Program, where CHA conducted environmental testing, reporting, and construction oversight on behalf of the client. The second phase involved designing, permitting, and constructing the state-of-the-art 80,000 SF headquarters and manufacturing facility. This effort included comprehensive infrastructure upgrades (water, sewer, gas, electric, telecom, fire), traffic signal design, sanitary sewer lining, and the reconstruction of existing 8-inch and 24-inch water mains for the City of Syracuse.
The development features an office building, a distribution center, stormwater management systems, quality basins, paved access roads, and designated parking and loading areas for employees, visitors, and trucks. The stormwater system was designed in compliance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and Onondaga County Save the Rain requirements.
The plant will employ over 100 employees.
The headquarters and manufacturing facility spans 80,000 square feet.
New hub supports that manufacturing of 5G indoor antennas.
