Hanwha Qcells Project Redeemer

QCells constructed a groundbreaking 2.4 million SF solar panel manufacturing facility in Cartersville, Georgia—one of the largest and most advanced of its kind in the U.S. The plant is designed to support a fully integrated solar supply chain, producing ingots, wafers, cells, and finished panels under one roof.

As part of the project, CHA provided comprehensive fire protection services, including the design and installation of multiple fire suppression systems tailored to the facility’s industrial scale and operational complexity. These systems include fire pumps, over 80 overhead wet systems, multiple dry and preactions systems, and specialized clean agent suppression systems to safeguard critical manufacturing areas and equipment. The fire protection scope also included system testing and commissioning to support long-term safety and regulatory compliance.
