Northampton Community College Monroe Campus

Northampton Community College Monroe Campus transformed a challenging 71-acre site into a vibrant educational destination for students throughout the Pocono region. The campus includes a 42,500 SF Enrollment Center, 68,000 SF Student Life Building, and 95,000 SF Classroom Building, creating a comprehensive environment that supports academics, student life, and community engagement.

From early planning through construction, CHA provided project management and pre-construction services, helping guide budgeting, value engineering, constructability reviews, and bid packaging to support cost-effective delivery. The project required navigating steep slopes, environmentally sensitive watershed areas, rock formations, utility extensions, and substantial roadway improvements, while incorporating sustainable features such as porous paving, rain gardens, and a geo-exchange HVAC system.

CHA also supported the development of a 600-kW solar farm with integrated parking canopies, extending the campus's commitment to sustainability. Through careful planning and construction phasing, the project was delivered on time and within budget, creating a modern campus that balances academic excellence, environmental stewardship, and long-term community investment.
