SECO EcoPlastic, a Korea-based manufacturer and supplier of plastic components for the automotive industry, recently constructed its first U.S. facility in Statesboro, Georgia. The new 400,000 SF, state-of-the-art plant is used for manufacturing and painting Hyundai electric vehicle (EV) vehicle components such as bumpers, interior consoles, trims, and molds.
CHA provided fire protection engineering services for the facility, which includes the installation of 4,376 sprinkler heads, 9 wet pipe sprinkler systems, 4 pre-action sprinkler systems, a NOVEC clean agent system, and an electric fire pump—ensuring comprehensive safety and code compliance.
