Athletic Capital Improvements

As part of a multi-year capital improvement initiative, CHA provided design and construction administration services for a comprehensive upgrade of the track and field, tennis, and softball facilities, creating new opportunities for student-athletes and spectators alike.

The centerpiece of the project was the complete renovation of the track and field complex, expanding the facility from six to eight lanes and introducing a synthetic turf infield, new sports lighting, enhanced field event areas, a scoreboard, press box, grandstand seating, and improved parking. Nearby, the tennis complex was rebuilt with new courts, lighting, and spectator accommodations, while the softball program received a reoriented synthetic turf field with upgraded amenities designed to enhance both play and the fan experience.

Together, these improvements established a cohesive athletic campus designed to support a wide range of sports and community activities. Looking ahead, the district's long-term vision includes a new indoor field house and a two-rink ice arena, continuing the transformation of the campus into a year-round destination for athletics, recreation, and community engagement.
