District-wide Capital Improvements

This district-wide capital improvement program represents a long-term investment in the future of learning, safety, and community across 17 schools and support facilities. Designed to modernize aging infrastructure while schools remain fully operational, the $153.7 million initiative is being delivered through a carefully phased approach that balances construction activity with the daily needs of students, staff, and families.

Organized into four phases through 2029, the program includes a broad range of building, site, and athletic facility improvements that will enhance learning environments, improve building performance, and strengthen campus safety throughout the district. New synthetic turf fields, basketball and tennis courts, infrastructure upgrades, and facility enhancements are creating more functional, efficient, and engaging spaces for both students and the community.

As the district's Construction Manager, CHA provides comprehensive oversight throughout planning and construction, coordinating schedules, budgets, contractors, and project stakeholders across multiple active campuses. Working closely with district leadership, design teams, and regulatory agencies, CHA helps manage phasing strategies, monitor construction progress, facilitate communication, and coordinate work around academic calendars and summer construction windows to minimize disruption to school operations.
