Randolph Elementary School was envisioned as more than a replacement school. It was an opportunity to create a modern learning environment that supports students, serves the broader community, and honors the history of the site. Working with the Town of Randolph and Randolph Public Schools, CHA provided Owner’s Project Manager services and helped secure Massachusetts School Building Authority funding to bring the project to life.
The new 74,720 SF elementary school was designed to support today's educational needs while remaining flexible for the future. Modern classrooms, specialized learning spaces, and improved campus circulation create a welcoming and efficient environment for students in Pre-K through Grade 5. Thoughtful site planning enhanced parking, traffic flow, and overall campus functionality, improving the daily experience for students, staff, and families.
Designed as a Net Zero Ready, all-electric school and achieving LEED Silver® certification, the facility reflects the district's commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and long-term operational value. The school was also designed as a community resource. The gymnasium, cafeteria, and media center remain accessible after hours, extending the building's role beyond the school day. Throughout the project, the district and design team worked closely with Randolph's Historical Commission to preserve and display artifacts from the former Randolph Devine School, carrying the community's history forward into the new school.
