The Stucker Fork Conservancy District is advancing water service reliability and resilience through ongoing investment in its storage infrastructure. Since 1964, CHA has partnered with the district to support system growth and modernization across six counties in southern Indiana. The district’s water storage network is essential for stabilizing system pressure, supporting fire protection, and maintaining daily operational performance. CHA conducts routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize rehabilitation efforts, helping the district protect its assets and extend their service life.
In 2022, CHA facilitated the rehabilitation of two major storage facilities: the Marble Hill Ground Water Storage Tank and Tank No. 10 Elevated Water Storage Tank. The project included comprehensive surface preparation and repainting, restoring protective coatings and maintaining industry compliance. Repairs to tank appurtenances further enhanced operational safety and reliability.
Through proactive inspection and rehabilitation, the Stucker Fork Conservancy District is strengthening water infrastructure and supporting dependable service for a growing customer base.
